Tour is done for AVicious
Never really went to sleep last night. There was no point. We hung out for a bit after the show and ended up talking until the point of no return for old AVicious. Now I am sitting in the airport and listening to the not so impressive music mix by Virgin America. I must say that it is with a hint of sadness that I depart. The tour was so much fun and the shows started to build some great momentum as Washington came out to support. Last night was a great night at the High Dive and I can’t say enough about the staff there. They are A#1. As I watch the guys in neon vests prep the plane I can’t help but think about what great experiences mean to life.
Special notes:thank you to Miley from Oregon for the home brewed apple wine. That was very sweet.
Thank you to Bjorn who hooked us up in Portland.
Thank you to the Bellingham crew who represented for your city.
And thank you to the Transfer crew who bringing us into the fold. Can’t wait for the next show.

High Dive – Seattle – Tonight
We stayed on a beautiful piece of property in the town of Bellingham last night. Loft next to an old barn and sauna. After we all steamed together and talked about the seesence of being a man we decided to head back to Seattle and cruise to the High Dive for our show with Holy Rolling Empire and Etherin Wright. Got to the venue a little late so setup has been hectic but the house is pretty full as the opener took the stage for their pre-cd release party…? Lots of frieind groups here and I am looking forward to locking this rig and getting a quick drink. Its my last night on tour before we regroup in San Diego at the Casbah May 1st. Its been a good string of shows and I have learned a lot about the music. The show is better for it. Key lesson – experiment to simplify.

Rogue Hero Tonight
We rolled into Bellingham after one hell of a fucking night in Seattle. The Tractor Room rocked and it was good to meet some great Seattle homeys. I have some great video to post up when I get back.
I am currently sitting on the near outskirts of a sweaty people pit. This club is packed and its only the opener. The club is cool enough but I have to say that I may not live through this one. I have only been nervous for my gear once before.
Posted up and I will write later. Bellingham WA is about to go off!!!

Tractor Room tonight
We just pulled into Seattle from Portland. The road has definitely taken its toll on the weary band of merry minstrels. Looks like we are going to chill out for a couple hours before load in. A good turkey burger sounds delicious. Portland was fun. We met some good people. Would like to revisit Dante’s again. Fun stage, good sound guy and a strip club upstairs if, you know, that’s your thing.
This is the first of the last 3 for AVicious on this tour before we reunite May 1st for a band home town show. It will be big and fun.
For now I am going to eat up a good burger, have a pint and wait out the couple of hours before load in. Then I am going to catch Republic of Letters on X1FM.com tonight at 7pm pst.

Transfer West Coast Tour update #VJ
A special greetings to all from the road. AVicious and Transfer have been doing some hard dates over the past couple of days in preparation for Portland and Seattle this week. AVicious jumped back on the tour in San Francisco and did Chico show before we all rolled to Mt Shasta to play a seminar for foster kids. It was a small show but it was one of the best experiences I have ever been a part of. The kids were rad and I had a chance to teach a real bright kid by the play of Harley some tricks on the VJ rig. After that we rolled to Corning, CA for a Rodger’s Theatre benefit. It was the birthplace of Transfer and a cool space to VJ. I blasted the whole front wall and stage with visuals. Video should be coming soon. From there we rolled into Redding to play a new venue called the "Downtown Eatery". Was a nice bar and we got to have some delicious wine.
That brings us up to now where I lay in the back seat of the van relaxing to some Radiohead and watch the trees go by.
Some things I have learned along the way:
1. Simple is always better.
2. Playing a show with a jam band on 420 can be interestingly mind numbing.
3. Old Chub’s beer is fucking gross
4. Always shower and do laundry when given the chance
5. Enjoy every minute of it.
We will be updating the site with CD Release show notes and concepts soon.
Hasta.
